Position Description
The volunteer will support partnership development, outreach, fundraising research, and collaboration activities across various UPG initiatives and teams.
Responsibilities may include:
- Managing relationships with collaborators, partners, and stakeholders
- Supporting partnership outreach, email communication, and follow-ups
- Conducting research on grants, donors, funding opportunities, corporate partnerships, and institutional collaborations
- Assisting with proposal writing, partnership presentations, and funding-related documentation
- Supporting collaboration and project design activities
- Assisting with CRM updates, tracking conversations, and maintaining partnership records
- Supporting campaigns, outreach initiatives, and relationship-building activities
- Monitoring funding-related activities and helping prepare reports and summaries where needed
- Staying updated on local and global developments relevant to UPG’s activities and partnerships
Qualified candidates are welcome with a variety of skills. No single candidate is expected to possess all qualifications, as each volunteer brings unique strengths that complement the team.
Requirements & Skills
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to conduct online research and organize information effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow-ups, and coordination activities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multicultural remote teams
- Ability to work with and respect confidential information
- Interest in partnerships, fundraising, sustainability, community impact, or international development
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, CRM systems, or project coordination tools is an advantage
- Additional languages are an asset
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in partnerships, outreach, fundraising, grants, communications, research, sales, marketing, or project management
- Experience supporting campaigns, movements, or community initiatives
- Existing network of potential partners, collaborators, or supporters is an advantage
- Experience in proposal writing, stakeholder engagement, or non-profit environments is beneficial
- Motivated individuals looking to learn and grow through volunteer engagement are encouraged to apply
